Dusty blue winter wedding

Dusty blue winter wedding

27. April 2019|BE INSPIRED|

The winter season isn’t a popular season for weddings and I think it’s a shame. The freezing, washed out shades are very elegant and can give wedding design an elegance that is perfect for the noble fineart style. I would like to show you that even a winter wedding can be beautiful and original. That’s why I’ve created some wintry inspiration. The palette I chose to use is a colorful one comprised of cool, powdery shades with a really modern shade of dusty blue in combination with white, grey and a touch of black. For the photo shoot, we approached the great Dara Rakovčik, with whom I love working with.

It was a great pleasure for me that I could start working with the florist Hana Holdener from Bratislava, Ponk rentals, which belongs to one of the best in the industry. I do believe she will bring a fresh whisp of air into the florist wedding industry, alongside Austrian graphic designers Carissimo letterpress; they know how to design some really fantastic print.

Dara recommended us the interior Hala11 for the photo shooting. Hala11 has many interesting places, we chose a white room with a fireplace – very stylish and romantic.

Donate lent us the furniture, again. It was our second cooperation and we cannot be happier for it! They have many stunning pieces of furniture and decorations.

The linen napkins and the runner made of washed flax were ordered on the internet, the table was laid with decorations from Zara Home. We borrowed some beautiful rustic patina candlesticks, trays, bowls and candles from Pink rental.

I chose an exquisitely made dress from the Le Monika salon. Mellow make-up and a romantic hairstyle were provided by Lucie Průžková. The whole outfit was taken to perfection with some lovely wedding shoes from Sophia Webster. They have a funny inscription on the soles – Wifey for Lifey.
I chose a light grey suit from Suitsup, a white shirt and black accessories.

The wedding rings and other jewelry was lent to us by the Czech firm Eppi, where they design and create their own jewelry. I have to say – they really do have some beautiful pieces for great prices. They are kind-hearted, have a lovely atelier and will listen to your needs.

The flowers were perfect, we really put a lot of time into choosing them. Every season, I dream of anemones and buttercups, the ones with white petals and a black middle, but unfortunately. I couldn’t miss a chance of having them in my editorial.

The wedding prints were in a shade of Dusty blue, printed on fine paper, letters inscribed with a calligraphic font, printed with letterpress. The name tags were interestingly and unusually rolled by hand.

Cupcakes Veronika complemented this wintry, freezing atmosphere with her original cake, which was in cool shades with freezing crystals and perfect cupcakes and meringues in a similar design.

The atmosphere was made complete with gleaming letters, which have the whole offer for letter styles, in various sizes and could make your wedding something a little extra.

I hope you liked my ideas regarding winter weddings and that you might possibly decide to have a winter wedding yourself. Winter will still last for a while, but soon you can look forward to the spring editorial, yet again in modern, trendy colors.
